What We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Lifecycle Marketing Manager with a proven track record of planning and managing impactful, data-driven digital marketing programs that drive acquisition, nurture, and retain customers through a defined journey and drive retention across the customer lifecycle.

Full-time remote is available nationally (Canada only). For those close to our office in London, ON, we have flexible office hours based on training and collaboration needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and lead the technical execution of full-service email marketing programs
  • Accountable for high-quality project deliverables, including defining and enforcing quality, accessibility, and compliance standards for optimal results
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of clients marketing and business objectives
  • Define success KPIs and benchmarks to ensure plans aim to achieve project goals and are positioned for measurable success
  • Conduct audits on clients’ marketing initiatives to create strategies for proposals
  • Aid in the preparation and delivery of client presentations, and effectively handle technical questions from clients
  • Identify and develop service offering narratives that enable Northern to expand existing client services and new client acquisition
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on all things email marketing to Accounts, Project Management, and Solutions teams in order to develop client solutions and proposal
  • Support comprehensive digital marketing strategies for clients using necessary channel tools (e.g. email, SMS, analytics, SEO, CRO, and/or social media)
  • Collaborate with inter-departmental and cross-functional team members to optimize client experience and ensure optimal solution delivery
  • Accountable for developing and maintaining process documentation to ensure consistent delivery of digital marketing solutions

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience with a proven track record in email marketing
  • Advanced experience with Klaviyo, Marketo, HubSpot, Omnisend, and/or Mailchimp required
  • Experience with SMS marketing and/or CRM platforms (such as Salesforce) required
  • A College diploma, University degree, or relevant job-related experience. We welcome highly experienced, self-taught, and self-motivated learners who express a strong passion for digital marketing
  • Highly effective communication and time management skills
  • Proven ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
  • Google Analytics certified
  • Knowledge of HTML, WordPress & CSS
  • Awesome G Suite skills
